Mean so much when we were younger

But as time provides a need for wisdom

A need for us to deal with the little things

As is the need for simple romance

Our whims and dreams no longer cut it

We must balance what we always dreamed of

With the responsibilities of love

The little things are the glue

That secure a lifetime with you…

Happy endings all their grandeur

Never see the sweat, the blood and tears

Sleepless nights, winless fights
